Move the live tick through the range. Near an edge, Foraga can preserve the opposite boundary and expand from 200 to 400 ticks instead of repeatedly chasing the same boundary.
Rose bands make the position eligible before it exits.
The opposite edge stays fixed while the threatened side expands.
Green cores allow a protected range to become narrow again.
Expand to exactly twice the normal width.
Edge + return must stay below 100 ticks.
